Description
The project involved providing strategic design route assessment options for the Beaudesert Corridor Study for a proposed Beaudesert heavy vehicle town centre bypass. The total length of the study area was 9km, which included route option assessment of two scenarios (one or two travel lanes in each direction), with multiple intersection layout options reviewed along the length of the proposed route (i.e. TCS intersections, roundabouts and priority T intersections). An aim of the study was to review whether the proposed bypass would be able to be built with balanced earthworks while achieving the design standards and criteria.
